We confuse creating community with socializing. It may be, but it is not always the same. Creating community is surrounding yourself with people like you. Community is sisterhood, it is a group of people that you can turn to if you need help. People who will hold the space for you, and support you as you walk through your difficult times.

Community can arise anywhere. Community is love, it is compassion, it is where you find space to be yourself and feel comfortable.

Community does not come out of nowhere, it is created. Each one of us creates it with our actions, with our attitude towards life. That is the magic of the community, it appears when you need it most and in the people you least imagine.

🇪🇸 Confundimos crear comunidad con socializar. Puede ser, pero no siempre es igual. Crear comunidad es rodearte de gente afín a ti. Amigas en la misma sintonía, que si bien no son iguales a ti, sí fomentan o promueven valores similares a los tuyos.

Comunidad es sinónimo de solidaridad, es un grupo de gente al que puedes recurrir si necesitas ayuda. Gente que te va a entender, apoyar o acompañar a caminar tus ratos difíciles.

La comunidad puede surgir en cualquier lado. Comunidad es amor, es compasión, es un espacio para ser tú y sentirte cómoda.

La comunidad no surge de la nada, se crea. La creamos cada una de nosotras con nuestras acciones, con nuestra actitud hacia la vida. Esa es la magia de la comunidad, aparece cuando más la necesitas y en las personas que menos te imaginas.
