Ana was born in Córdoba, Ver. México in 1982. Graduated from Tec de Monterrey with a degree in International Business with Specialty in International Marketing from Helsinki Business Polytechnic, Finland. She has a Master degree in International Business from Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland. Supported by the Programme Alßan, the European Union. Programme of High Level Scholarships for Latin America, Master Degree.
Before becoming certified as a Parent Educator and as a Mindfulness and Meditation Facilitator, Ana published her Master’s dissertation internationally (Second class honours degree upper division. Best Master Class Dissertation with 3 international publications): Testing for a Critical Juncture: Change in Mexican Macroeconomic Policy in the early 1980s. You can find it at Amazon.
Ana has lived, studied and worked abroad. She worked in the corporate world for about 10 years, as a head of multidisciplinary and multicultural work teams, and as a Supply Chain professor at Tec de Monterrey for students of Industrial Systems Engineering. She is certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (GE, 2013).
Ana has been married since 2009 and is the mother of two, a girl and a boy. Her family is the main driving force behind this.
Training as a Parent Educator and Mindfulness and Meditation Facilitator
After her first daughter was born, the world of emotions and thoughts took a new shape, so Ana decided to reinvent herself and redirect her life towards what had always been her passion, the mind and the psycho-emotionality of the human being.
Ana is trained in Conscious Parenting by Dr. Shefali Tsabary Ph.D., 2 year training. She is trained as a Mindfulness and Meditation facilitator by Jack Kornfield Ph.D and Tara Brach Ph.D. She is certified as a facilitator in Tools for Life: Mindfulness Strategies for Professionals in the Education Arena, by Susan Kaiser Greenland.
Ana today integrates the latest neuroscience studies with eastern and western psychology. Her passion is to create a more compassionate world by promoting a healthy mind.

Throughout these years, she has seen how compassion, patience and equanimity have blossomed in her. Since then, she shares how important it is to care, respect and nurture our minds.

She is the author of the book Thoughts Are or its Spanish version Los Pensamientos Son. A book for the whole family, illustrated by her husband.

In a very simple way, she explains what thoughts are, and how they do not define us or make us good or bad people.
