🇲🇽Lo que sea que escriba de este libro me quedo corta.

Llore y reí al mismo tiempo. La amargura de leer la cruda realidad de los jóvenes latinos en los barrios de Los Angeles, California.

La alegría de leer que existe gente como el Padre Gregory Boyle @homeboyindustries que ve en cada uno de ellos a un ser humano. Un ser humano con potencial, con esperanza, un ser humano que sufre, un ser humano con necesidades, físicas y emocionales.

Ver más allá de la apariencia física, ver al ser humano ahí dentro, ver el espíritu, y acogerlo con compasión.

Es un libro que recomiendo ampliamente, es el mejor libro que he leído que explica con hechos lo que es la COMPASIÓN. Son hechos, son acciones, un compromiso constante, que dignifican la vida humana a toda costa.

Necesitamos invertir en nuestros jóvenes, muy en especial en esos que están en malos pasos, en esos chavos que buscan en las drogas, en las pandillas, el amor y la aceptación que les negamos como sociedad.

Este es un libro que todos debemos leer, para ir cambiando el rumbo de la sociedad un ser humano a la vez.

🇺🇸Whatever I write about this book I fall short.

I cried and laughed at the same time. The bitterness of reading the harsh reality of young Latinos in the neighborhoods of Los Angeles, California.

The joy of reading that there are people like Father Gregory Boyle who sees in each of them a human being. A human being with potential, with hope, a human being who suffers, a human being with needs, physical and emotional.

He teaches us how to see beyond the physical appearance, how to see the human being inside, how to see the spirit, and welcome it with compassion.

It is a book that I highly recommend, it is the best book I have read that explains what COMPASSION is. Facts, actions, constant commitment, that dignify human life at all costs.

We need to invest in our young people, especially in those who are in bad steps, in those kids who seek in drugs and gangs, the love and acceptance that we deny them as a society.

This is a book that we should all read, to change the course of society one human being at a time.
